After previously working with Total Window Concepts on instructional videos, we were engaged again to create a new set of programming guides. This time, the brief was clear and focused: replicate the written programming instructions in video form, keeping everything simple and easy to follow.
We began by modelling the core components — the motors and remotes — before expanding the scene to include a simplified window and blind setup. This allowed us to clearly demonstrate steps that wouldn’t make sense when showing the components alone.
From there, we animated the full programming process, working closely with the client and refining the sequence through regular back-and-forth feedback. Once the flow and clarity were right, we enhanced the models with improved texturing and environments to give the videos a more realistic, polished feel.
The final result was a pair of clear, step-by-step instructional videos that made the programming process far easier to understand than written instructions alone. The outcome was a cleaner training tool and a very happy client.
