When On The Fly needed a new editor for seasons three and four, we were brought in to help bring their vision to life. The challenge? Turning hours of raw, unstructured footage into cohesive, engaging episodes ready for national broadcast.
We began by developing a clear storyline from the raw material — crafting a narrative that flowed naturally while showcasing the show’s authentic fly fishing adventures. From there, we layered in on-screen graphics to highlight key details and enhance viewer understanding.
Music played a crucial role in shaping each episode’s energy. We carefully selected and integrated tracks that elevated the mood and helped maintain audience engagement throughout.
Once the storytelling and production elements were finalised, we prepared each episode to meet Channel 10’s strict television delivery guidelines. The result was a polished, professional series that not only boosted viewership but also strengthened the connection between On The Fly and its parent brand, Hurley’s Fly Fishing.
